Google Pixel 6a is no longer available paving the way for the Pixel 8a. The 6a can no longer be purchased on the company’s digital storefront. The British, American, European, and Asian markets were checked to confirm if this is true, and could not find the Pixel 6a anywhere. And yes, even the official protective case is gone too.
As noted by Android Authority, if you visit the Pixel 6a’s previous URL, you will be routed to the Pixel 7a. The only A-series phone available for purchase on the marketplace right now is the Pixel 7a.
Naturally, this does not imply that the gadget has vanished from the face of the planet. The old classic is still available for purchase on Amazon and at other stores. However, purchasing the Pixel 7a—or perhaps the Pixel 7—right now would be wiser given the obvious reasons. In addition to being on sale, it outperforms the Pixel 6a as expected.

Google just took $100 off the price of their storefront, so now would be a good time to purchase one if you’re considering it.
Although the reason Google discontinued the 6a is officially unclear, it appears clear why. It appears that the tech behemoth is making preparations for the impending release of the Pixel 8a by clearing off some space.
Since the beginning of March, information regarding the forthcoming smartphone has been leaking every week, suggesting an impending release. First, we found out that the gadget would cost at least $50 “more than the Pixel 7a,” which is more than what we had originally thought.
Then we learned about a possible feature: a readout that provided battery statistics and health information. The phone’s specs were leaked by an alleged Google source just last week, who claimed the device would operate on a Tensor G3 processor, which is comparable to the Pixel 8’s.
With the exception of one recent piece of information, the leaks have slowed down as of this writing. The model will reportedly be released in ten additional European nations, including Romania, according to Android Authority, and recently uncovered electronic warranty markings. We anticipate that April will see its fair share of information dumps with all these data emerging from the shadows.
It won’t take long for us to get formal word. I/O 2024, Google’s next big event, begins on May 14. We anticipate the release of new products, including the Pixel 8a.
