The 23-year-old, Ayomide is currently trending due to this shocking arrest. According to reports on the official twitter handle of the Nigerian Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, He murdered and buried 23-year-old Christiana Idowu, a FUNAAB undergraduate, in his parents’ backyard in Ikorodu. What’s even more disturbing is that his family was aware of his previous murder, and it was his cousins who anonymously tipped off security personnel, leading to his exposure.
Netizens are stunned by the heinous crimes Adeleye committed at such a young age, especially given his close relationship with Christiana – they were friends, attended the same church, and grew up together, making his actions even more devastating.”

Christiana’s family received a ransom demand of 1.5 million Naira from her alleged abductors, who contacted them using her own WhatsApp number. The family managed to raise 350,000 Naira, which they deposited into a betting account as instructed. However, after sending the bank statement to the abductors’ email as requested, all communication ceased. Interestingly, on the same day (22/08/2024), funds were transferred into Christiana’s bank account and then withdrawn into a mysterious Wema bank account, suggesting a possible scam.

Intelligence operatives made a breakthrough by tracing the BVN (Bank Verification Number) linked to the suspicious betting account, which led them to the Wema bank account. The betting company was alerted and promptly froze the account, with only about 100,000 Naira withdrawn. Further investigation revealed that the suspect, Ayodele (aka SK), had recklessly shared his personal details, including bank information, on social media while participating in giveaway posts. Moreover, it was discovered that SK and Christianah had previously interacted with each other in the comment section of social media posts.”

Armed with the gathered information, the operatives began monitoring Ayodele’s (SK) cell phone activities and text messages, leading them to his parents’ residence in Ikorodu, Lagos. They confirmed his presence through real-time mobile tracking and swiftly made the arrest. Upon searching him, they found incriminating evidence, including Christianah’s phone (an itel A56) and documents on his phone detailing the transferred funds and confirming his ownership of the locked betting account, which was registered under his phone number.

Further investigation revealed a link between Ayodele (SK) and the email address used to communicate with Christianah’s family. On September 3, 2024, SK confessed to murdering his friend and church member, Christianah Idowu, and burying her in his father’s compound. Unconfirmed reports suggest that SK’s ex-girlfriend and biological sister met similar gruesome ends in 2018 and 2020, respectively. Twitter users suspect that SK didn’t act alone and had at least four accomplices. Nigerians are calling on the Police Force to thoroughly investigate and prosecute all individuals involved.
