The 22nd edition of the annual women’s conference, organized by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), commenced on Tuesday, 18 October, 2022, and “Spring Forth, Stand Out,” is the theme for the year.

On arrival, the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, led Wike and other dignitaries to their seats.

The wife of the Lagos State governor, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and other governors’ wives from Kwara State and Ogun State also joined to welcome Wike and his entourage with a standing and clapping ovation.

The wife of the governor of Lagos State, in her welcome address, described Governor Nyesom Wike as “Pepper them Governor.”

The three days National Women’s Conference will come to an end on Thursday, 20th October, 2022.
