On Wednesday night, Roc Nation Records, Def Jam Recordings, and Hollywood Records released details about the album for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

In addition to the previously released Rihanna single “Lift Me,” which was co-written by Tems, the soundtrack also contains Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tems, Fireboy DML, Ckay, Rema, Tobe Nwigwe, and Fat Nwigwe, among other African performers.

On the track ‘Alone,’ Grammy-winning performer Damini Ogulu, also known as Burnaboy, featured solo.

On the song ‘Anya Miri,’ Nigerian musician Ckay is joined by British songwriter and singer Pink Pantheress.

The Nwigwes, US rapper Tobechukwu Dubem Nwigwe (Tobe Nwigwe) and his wife, Fat, collaborate on the song “They want it but no.”

The soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was produced by director Ryan Coogler, composer Ludwig Goransson, Archie Davis (chief creative officer of Def Jam), and Dave Jordan.

The album will be released on November 4,

It was estimated that Goransson spent over 2500 hours recording the score and soundtrack, which took place in six studios across three continents and five nations.

Over 250 musicians, two orchestras, two choirs, and over 40 vocalists will be heard during the duration of the film.

Coogler was also heavily involved with the film’s musical composition, co-writing the lyrics for Rihanna’s “Lift Me” and suggesting the cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry.”

The story, which was influenced by the cultures of Nigeria and Mesoamerica, was recorded in Lagos, Nigeria, and Mexico City, Mexico.

In addition, young rappers and musicians from Mexico City are featured on the soundtrack, including the rapper Pat Boy, who raps only in Mayan.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is one of the most anticipated films of the year.

It is the sequel to Black Panther (2018), which starred Chadwick Boseman, who passed away at the age of 43 from colon cancer two years ago.

In the aftermath of King T’Challa’s death, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (featuring Florence Kasumba) strive to safeguard their homeland from the intervention of foreign forces.

As the Wakandans try to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must join forces with War queen Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) to establish a new future for the Wakandan kingdom.

The film stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livinalli alongside Tenoch Huerta Meja as Namor, the king of a secret underwater realm.

On November 11th, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens in theaters.
