JAMB inspects 14 CBT facilities in Jigawa for accreditation before the 2023 UTME

14 Computer Based Training (CBT) Centres have been inspected by the Jigawa office of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in preparation for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Mr Mukarram Bello, the board’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the state, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Saturday.

Bello stated that a team of inspectors led by Prof. Muhammad Sabo, the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Dutse, inspected the centres (FUD).

He explained that the purpose of the move was to ensure the centres’ eligibility to participate in the 2023 UTME registration and examination.

JAMB Professional Test Centre, Federal University Dutse ICT CBT Centre, Federal University Dutse E-Learning Centre, Federal University Dutse E-Learning Centre 2, BHT Inter Systems CBT Centre, Al-Hikmah CBT Centre, and Sule Lamido University CBT Centre were listed as the centres that were inspected by the PRO.

Others include the Binyamin Usman Polytechnic CBT Centre, the Future map Foundation CBT Centre, the Jigawa State College of Education CBT Centres 1 and 2, the Jigawa State Collage of Remedial and Advanced Studies CBT Centre, the Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic CBT Centre Jigawa State, and the Institute of Information Technology, Kazaure.

According to him, the activity is also intended to accredit centres in advance to ensure a trouble-free 2023 UTME exam.
