David Hundeyin today took to his official YouTube channel to make a response to the appearance of Nigerian journalist, Sam Omotseye, who stirred Nigeria’s social media since on Tuesday after making an outcry on an alleged threat to his life from supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party with his article on The Nation Newspaper titled “Obi-tuary”.

Hundeyin in the fourteen minutes video addressed the fact that Omotseye is the one responsible for the tantrums and the trolls made on his as a result of the editorial article and not him (Hundeyin) or any other person who responded to it.

Responding to Omotseye, he said “You made the decision to write that editorial article and to run it. You made that decision, I am not; neither is anyone who responded to your article. You are one hundred percent responsible.”

Hundeyin also addressed that Omotseye’s article about Peter Obi being linked with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was completely false and misleading without anyone credible fact or documentation.

While calling on Omotseye who was featured on TVC Breakfast Television to clarify the authenticity of the supposed facts presented in his article, Hundeyin tells Omotseye in response that he (Omotseye) was never a journalist, but, only a political reporter who knows nothing about facts.

Hundeyin however gave credence to the young Nigerian journalists who try to put journalism on the right track while intimating Omotseye to consider the future of the young Nigerians while putting up his articles and not trying to be demographic or selfish in his views, especially on issues concerning the nation.
