THE abrupt fire outbreak at the Directorate Headquarters of the National Youth Service Corps has been quicky put off by the FCT and Federal Fire Service Departments.
The fire incident started at about 7:30am on Friday and it burnt down to the 3rd floor of the six-storey building which is occupied by Planning Research and Statistics and General Service Department, where it affected a room filled with electronics.
At the moment of filing this report, nobody was reported dead and the important documents were safeguarded.
The Management of the Scheme thanked the Federal and FCT Fire Service Departments for a quick response which helped to put off the fire.
