The Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) has suggested a 50 percent compensation survey “no matter how you look at it given the real factors on ground.”

The Labor Union made the suggestion in a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The letter, which was dated August 8, was a reaction to the monetary remedies presented by State Governors.

It will be recalled that the Governors had pushed for the disposal of petroleum sponsorship, the retirement of government workers from the age of 50, and the decrease of National Assembly voting demographic tasks among different remedies.

The Labour Union attacked the Governors for looking for exiting the workforce of laborers, saying anybody advancing this thought “ought to be treated as foes of your administration.”

Rather than exiting the workforce, the association asked the administration of Buhari to think about a further increment of specialist compensations.
