The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for office of chairman for Odogbolu Local Government in the forth coming local government elections in Ogun State, Hon. Ladejobi Suaib, popularly known as ‘Yobo’ has expressed confidence that his planned manifesto will bring heedy solutions to challenges confronting the Local Government.

>Speaking to Swagenews in an exclusive interview, he said apart from his political experience, the trust that people of Odogbolu have in him encouraged him to contest for the highest office in the Local Government. “Aside the fact that I have been in politics for over 15 years and that I have studied the process of politicking, the trust of the people that actually encourage me, (they) advised that (Yobo or) Hon. Ladejobi, it is time for you to contest, it is time for you to be our servant leader. Probably based on my antecedent as the local government youth leader, which post I have been able to perform or hold satisfactorily to the fullest capacity”

The Aiyepe Ijebu born chairmanship candidate highlighted challenges confronting people of Odogbolu to include insecurity, bad roads, lack of industries, weakened health services and relegated sporting activities. “There are some roads that need to be tard, renovated and put in good shape for the good people of Odogbolu Local Government. For our farmers as well should be able to ply their goods, their farm produce from farm to the market” he explained.

Ladejobi lamented that the state of mechanised farming has not been actively enhanced in the agrarian local government area noting that if mechanised farming can receive government attention, it will enhance improved productivity and encourage farmers to go into agricultural business.

The APC flagbearer said if the people of Odogbolu give him their mandate to be next chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, the mantra of his manifesto will provide solutions to the challenges of the people. “I have my mantra which is ‘HEASEY’ mantra. The H stands for  HEALTH, the E stands for Education, the A stands for Agriculture, the S stands for Security, the E stands for Economy and the Y stands for Youths empowerment and Sports.

Hon. Ladejobi Suaib appealed to people of Odogbolu to be hopeful, saying he will build on the antecedents of the past leaders  they (the people) have entrusted their mandates on.
