Prime Minister Narendra Modi Meets Nvidia CEO to Discuss AI Potential in India – Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jensen Huang, CEO of the American software business Nvidia, on Monday and spoke at length about India’s “rich potential” in the field of artificial intelligence.

Modi wrote on X, “Had an excellent meeting with Mr. Jensen Huang, the CEO of @nvidia. We talked at length about the rich potential India offers in the world of AI.

“Mr. Jensen Huang was appreciative of the strides India has made in this sector and was equally upbeat about the talented youth of India,” the prime minister said. the prime minister added.

NVIDIA is best known for its GeForce series of gaming GPUs, which are widely used in gaming PCs and laptops. These GPUs are known for their high performance and advanced graphics capabilities, making them popular choices for gamers and content creators.

RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani has stated that Jio Platforms is eager to lead efforts in developing India-specific AI models and AI-powered solutions across domains, bringing the benefits of this new-age technology to Indian residents, enterprises, and government, promising “AI to everyone, everywhere.”

Ambani described Artificial Intelligence (AI) as the most exciting frontier of growth for Jio at the 46th Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries.

Ambani pledged the company’s commitment to build up to 2,000 MW of AI-ready processing power across cloud and edge locations, all while adopting sustainable practices and working toward a greener future.

According to the RIL CEO, a worldwide AI revolution is transforming the globe, and intelligent applications will redefine and revolutionize industries, economies, and even daily life sooner than imagined.

He claimed that for India to remain globally competitive, AI must be used for innovation, growth, and national prosperity.
