Tension rises at Eagles Square as Ameachi and Rivers Delegates allege rigging the APC presidential primaries

Reports this morning from the Eagles Square, Abuja discloses that some delegates from Rivers State have alleged to rig ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary

The River States delegates, who entered into the voting arena allegedly reported that some electoral officials were helping delegates who could not write, which is contrary to the announcement that was earlier given by the electoral committee that only one electoral official attached to each state would be allowed.

The delegates from Rivers State stated that some delegates were not on the ground but their accreditation tags were given to other people.

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who is a presidential aspirant, out of anger left his sit from the ‘state box’ where he was seated to the voting area and raise the same alarm.

As it stands, the security operatives have been able to calm the water down the situation and aggrieved delegates have been tamed.
