THE presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was no where to be found as presidential candidates from other political parties convened at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja to sign a peace accord ahead of the 2023 elections.

The APC flagbearer was however represented by his running mate, Kashim Shettima, who signed the peace accord on his behalf.

People’s Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, were all present at the event in Abuja.

According to reports that went round earlier, it is said that Tinubu is currently in London, United Kingdom.

The peace accord was organised by the National Peace Committee headed by former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar and Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah.
