THE manifesto and policy document as well as the inauguration of the Campaign council of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will be unveiled by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday at the State House in Abuja.

This was disclosed in a terse statement by Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Lagos State.

The statement read: “Flash: President Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday at the State House, Abuja, unveil the manifesto and policy document of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and inaugurate the Campaign Council.”

Fetus Keyamo, the spokesman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) had before now disclosed that the draft of the manifesto was presented by Bola Tinubu to the stakeholders of the party and was given a pass.

The campaign spokesman also added that a committee has been formed to format the manifesto to a simplified version which can be accessible to everyone, educational background notwithstanding.

When asked about the date for the release of the manifesto, Mr. Keyamo said: “What we did today was to review the draft of our manifesto. Our candidate is not a candidate that operates on his own. He tries to carry everybody along. He presented a draft of the manifesto to all the stakeholders of the party. We looked at it. Almost all the stakeholders gave the draft a 90 per cent pass mark.”
