US arrives Qatar first for 2022 FIFA World Cup

THE Men’s Soccer National Team of the United States of America are the first team to arrive Qatar, the location for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

They arrived Qatar on Thursday, with just 10 days left to the kick-off of the highly anticipated tournament.

The United States will play Wales on the 21st of November, eight years after they have been absent from the world tournament.

According to an AFP photographer at the Hamad International Airport in Qatar, the US team arrived Qatar via a Qatar Airways jet from New York on Thursday.

The 26-man US team which is coached by Gregg Berhalter will be lodging at Marsa Malaz Kempinski on the Pearl and will be having their trainings at the training ground of Al Gharafa club, which is just nine miles away from Marsa Malaz Kempinski.
