WhatsApp will now allow users log into two accounts simultaneously
Today, WhatsApp has just announced that users will soon be able to use two accounts simultaneously. This implies that you can switch between two accounts within a single WhatsApp session.

Using two WhatsApp accounts required carrying two phones in the past. The platform is now enabling users to manage two accounts with a single phone. Features like app cloning have also been added by phone makers like Oppo and Xiaomi, enabling users to utilize numerous WhatsApp instances.

In a blog post, the company stated that it was “Helpful for switching between accounts – such as your work and personal – now you no longer need to log out each time, carry two phones or worry about messaging from the wrong place,”
To add an additional account, users can navigate to Settings > Add Account. You will need a phone with a physical or eSIM slot for multi-SIM setup, or your second phone with a SIM. You will be able to control unique notifications and privacy settings for every account, according to the business.
In order to stop fraud, WhatsApp issued a warning about phony versions of the app.
WhatsApp added passkey support for the Android version earlier this week, allowing users to log in without the need for SMS-based two-factor verification.
