Oluwambe Ojagbohunmi, a self-proclaimed traditional ruler of Ayetoro Community in Ondo State’s Ilaje Council Area, has been dismissed by an Ondo State court sitting in Okitipupa.

The presiding judge, Justice Temitope Adedipe, ordered Ojagbohunmi to cease representing himself as the traditional ruler and spiritual leader of the village.

However, Adedipe confirmed Olaseni Ajijo as the Traditional and Spiritual Head of the church in the coastal community, as confirmed by the Board of Trustees of the Holy Apostle Church, Ayetoro.

He issued the order in Oba Ajijo’s suit against Prophet Ojagbohunmi about the lawful occupant of the traditional stool of the Ayetoro village.

The plaintiff requested  “a declaration that he is the incumbent reigning Spiritual Head of Ayetoro community having been chosen and installed by the Ogeloyinbo in Council and ratified by the Board of Trustees of the Holy Apostles’ Church, Ayetoro.”
