King Charles III has sworn an oath as he was officially declared the king during an ceremony at St James’ Palace, London on Saturday.
It was after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II that Charles III was named as king.
Over 200 people gathered in the room all then hailed ‘God save the King’ before documents were signed.

Flags that were lowered during the mourning for the late Queen will stay full-mast for a short time.
It will be recalled that yesterday, the King promised to follow his “darling mama’s” life of service in his first address to the nation.
Queen Elizabeth II who is the UK’s longest-reigning monarch died peacefully at Balmoral Castle on Thursday afternoon at the age of 96.
