Some presidential candidates at the NBA conference

The presidential candidates for the 2023 elections attended the Nigerian Bar Association’s (NBA) annual general conference held in Abuja on Monday.

In attendance at the conference were Labour Party’s Peter Obi, the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar, African Democratic Congress’ Dumebi Kachikwu, Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo as presidential candidates.

The NBA had notified that two other presidential candidates – Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) – did not confirm their availability for the conference.

The Vice-Presidential candidate of the APC, Kassim Shettima, was also present at the conference.

The 2022 NBA Annual General Conference, has the theme “Bold Transitions”, and is being held at the Eko Atlantic City until August 26.
