NDLEA seizes eight kilograms of cocaine from Pakistani businessmen

THE National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Sunday announced the arrest of two Pakistani and Nigerians for trafficking drugs.

This was disclosed in a terse statement signed and shared on Facebook by the Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday.

The statement identified the Pakistani businessmen as Asif Muhammed and Hussain Naveed.

As revealed by the statement, the Pakistani businessmen were caught with eight kilograms of cocaine which were hid in a public address system, while boarding their plane at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

Bukar Haruna, and son Saka Haruna were also arrested along Malumfashi-Zaria road in Katsina State and 20.5kg of cannanbis and 10 grams of exon-5 were found on them while they tried to abscond to Niger Republic.
