Music star, Fenty Mogul Rihanna will be returning to the music industry with her hit song “Lift Me Up” which is the lead single on Marvel’s blockbuster sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

“Lift Me Up”, will serve a tribute that focuses on the life, times and legacy of the late Chadwick’s Boseman, who was the lead actor in Black Panther.

The song is written by music stars, Rihanna, Tems and Ludwig Göransson. It is also directed by Ryan Coogler and will be out on Friday, 28th October before the movie will be premiered on Nov 11

Tems, who spoke about the new single esud said “After speaking with Ryan and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life. I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them.”

“Rihanna has been an inspiration to me so hearing her convey this song is a great honor.”

The song will be released by Westbury Road in collaboration with Roc Nation, Def Jam Recordings and Hollywood Records.

Rihanna’s return to the music industry is coming in more than five years after she last released her full-length single titled “Anti” in 2016.
