If you’re a WhatsApp user, good news has come because WhatsApp now allows users pin up to three messages in a chat.
On Thursday, WhatsApp announced that users can now pin up to three messages in a chat so that they are easy to find. Users could only pin one message on top of a chat with an individual or a group until now.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, and Will Cathcart, CEO of WhatsApp, both mentioned this feature on their WhatsApp channels. Last December, the chat app made it possible to “pin” a message in both one-on-one and group chats.

People can pin any kind of message, like text, pictures, or polls. You might find it very helpful to be able to quickly find information like a friend’s address or the place where your group is going on a trip.
You have to long press on a message and choose “Pin” from the menu that comes up. Also, you can choose how long the message stays pinned—24 hours, 7 days (the default), or 30 days. This lets you get rid of messages that are saved if the information is no longer useful on some days.
However, there is no choice but to keep a message like an address pinned forever. In 30 days, you would have to pin that phrase again. The only alternative is to “Star” a message and view it through the contact information menu.
