An Iranian, Amou Haji, who is popularly dubbed as the “world’s dirtiest man” for not having his bath for more than sixty years has died at the age of 94, months after having his bath.
Amou Haji, is said to have died on Sunday in a village in Dejgah, a southern city of Fars.
Before his death, Haji’s body was covered with soot and he lived in his rag clothes. Some villagers said that the late Haji had some emotional impairment while in his youths which made him to refuse having his bath.
Haji fed on animal excrement and other unclean foods because to him, being clean can make him go sick.
However, some months ago, he was persuaded and forced to have his bath for the first time in 60 years by villagers close to him and on Sunday, the world dirtiest man died at the age of 94.
