Jorge Caballero (@datadrivenmd), a user on Threads, reported that Meta now gives users the option to refuse to have their Threads posts recommended on Facebook and Instagram. This new function may be found under the Privacy menu in a new category called Suggested Postings on other applications.
From this subsection, users can choose to prevent Facebook or Instagram from recommending their Threads posts. The user can choose to unsubscribe from both Facebook and Instagram at the same time, or from each platform separately.
We were able to verify that the feature is accessible on the Android app, and the feature has begun rolling out to users. Make sure the app is up to date with the most recent version if you haven’t seen the option yet.

The Voice Threads feature is another tool that was added to the social networking platform in addition to the Edit button. This capability lets users submit a recorded audio message as a Threads post, much like WhatsApp’s voice note feature.
